Customization[]
The flash suppressor has little effect in improving the gun's control, which is a critical factor when it comes to automatic shotguns. Players are better off with the muzzle brake which helps stabilize the gun while firing. The silencer/suppressor gives additional control and eliminates muzzle flash, but decreases damage.
The laser, as always, comes in handy.
For barrel lengths, it is recommended that you leave it at medium. Shorter length = faster fire rate BUT lower damage. Longer length = more damage and control BUT slower fire rate. Shortening the barrel makes the gun less effective against enemies with more armor (assault class) and gives the gun a lower damage stat than your lowest tier shotgun. Lengthening the barrel reduces the fire rate. (Let's be honest. You bought this shotgun for the fire rate anyway.)
An open, 1x scope is recommended.

Tactics[]
This is NOT a weapon for long range engagements. and is best used at close range. Reload is fast for a shotgun, but don't reload mid-fire. You will probably get shot.
Unfortunately shotgun tactics seem to differ greatly from player to player as the degree of success with this family of weapons does tend to depend more heavily upon the skill of the player, more so than any other weapon. Suffice to say that should you be more comfortable switching back to LMGs or ARs that you won't be able fair that badly either, unless you're up against a more experienced player right round the next corner.
Needless to say, if you're not so inclined towards being the one camping for points in CQC situations, this gun, and the rest of the shotguns are probably not for you. ThePepperPot (talk) 06:27, March 12, 2015 (UTC)
